(b) About how to save the children of under 19 who are drug abusers. (c) about how to find good employment for them. (d) about health awareness and treatment for village people. (e) about the problems of children. (f) about the problems schools in village's.

To See from the Point of View of Social Service (Children's Life)

From 15-07-2006 to 29-07- 2006 we made our trip to some places to study about the condition of children for the purpose of social service. We visited Dhading, Ramche (Rasuwa) Tulsipur, Butawal, Makawanpur and Chitwan. Among them the condition of Chepang Children is most critical. The poor health condition, lack of quality education and nutritious food are the major problems with these children. The main root of these problems is poverty and lack of awareness with parents. Most of the Chepangs are settled in the remote hilly area and around the banks of river. Therefore, children can not go to the school at the age of 4 or 5. Most of the children start their schooling at the age of 10 or later. There are many poverty stricken children and orphans in Chepang community.

Chepangs are mainly settled in Chitwan, Makawanpur and Dhading Districts; the lifestyle, their small huts and their behaviors are almost same. We found an American project which has managed to distribute nutritious foods for small school children of below the age grade 5 in Chuniya VDC of Makawanpur district. They provide oil, ghee, sugar, wheat flour, powder milk etc to the school children. In order to encourage educating the girls, the mothers of girls are offered 2 liters of mustard oil every month. There is a building of a day child care center made by the (some) project. Children are cared from 10 A M to 5 PM. in this building. Milk, fruits, eggs etc are distributed to the children in the day child care center.

We found a girl admitted in grade one at the age of 14. We found many children not being able to join school due to the economic problem. They are affected by the lack of educational materials like notebook, pen books etc. Chepangs of these areas are very poor and suffering from many problems because of the lack of awareness. Lack of awareness about family planning of the parents is the root cause of their poverty.

We visited to a child care center: (without DONOR)

We visited to a child care center from September 15-9-2006 to 17-9-2006 named "Nirantar Children Development Organization" to help the children. It was found that children were sexual exploited, children were badly beaten and they were forced to fetch water early in the morning. Instead of teaching, children were sent on the street for begging. Guardians were also compelled to pay the money and not allowed to meet children. Therefore, children could to get chance to express their suffering. In our observation, we found the situation of children very critical. The place was very dirty, there were biting bugs and we could not sleep whole night. We managed to wash the children's' clothes calling a person, we managed to live them bath. There were no soaps for children so we bought it. There was a gas cylinder but there was no gas, there was stove but no kerosene. We repaired stove and bought kerosene. We bought meat, tea, fruits and some other foods for them. In free time, they got together and sang a song; we could not understand that they sing song in happiness or in sorrow. It is surprising how they could sing song in such suffering! We helped three days; in this child care center the government rejected this child care center forever.

Our Successful Project

Chepang Village

This organization has built a school building in 27th January, 2008 at Chepang Village of Peeda-6, Dhading district. After this, approximately 120 students have a calculation that if the school is upgraded up to class VIII the student’s number can be increased in this village. So, we are searching donors for it according to our plan. Either we have a plan of contracting different foundations for implementing our plans as an option. Our organization has been providing ECA and CCA goods to the students or this school. We would like to mention the fact or you kind information the land where the school is built is bought by our organization. As number of student is higher than the number of disk benches available in the school, the students have the problem of seat in the school.

Pendeshwori Gairi Gaun Village

Likewise, this organization has renovated another school building too which was situated in the same district at Pendeshwori Gairi Village of Peeda-9, in April 4th 2008. We have done this as it has a noble cause to protect child’s rights for education whereas the school building was badly affected by the natural disaster.
